Movilla Abbey Church is a lively and friendly Christian community based in the heart of East Newtownards close to the ruins of Movilla Abbey. Hundreds of people call Movilla Abbey Church home and you would be welcome to do the same.

PRAYER AND YOU
At Movilla Abbey Church, we believe that when we pray, things can be changed for the better. That’s because we believe that God hears and responds when we pray to Him in faith. As a great old preacher, CH Spurgeon once said: “Prayer is the slender nerve that moves the muscle of omnipotence.” And sometimes when we don’t know how to pray, or feel like giving up, it’s helpful to have others pray for us. As the Bible tells us: ‘Bear one another’s burdens, and…pray for one another, that you may be healed.’ (Galatians 6:2 & James 5:16). So we’d like to offer to pray for you.
Every request will be prayed for confidentially by our minister and a small group of trusted and experienced leaders.
It will be helpful if you can be as specific as possible in naming the situation needing prayer.
And if things change for the better after prayer, please let us know!
